Come and travel in time and discover one of the largest Roman settlements in Portugal.
Conímbriga is classified as a National Monument, and has become the best studied Roman archaeological site in the country.
We will visit the locations of the old town of Conímbriga while learning about daily life during that period and understand its strategic location in the territory that later would become Portugal.
The tour includes the Conímbriga museum, where many of the artefacts found in archaeological excavations are displayed, including coins and surgical tools.
We will end the visit tasting the famous cheese of this region.
